Guarnaschelli and her fellow top chefs were all on hand for the official US Open tasting event on Thursday.

There’s more than tennis on the menu at the 2021 US Open. The final major tournament of the season is boasting an all-star line-up of chefs and cuisines available for fans attending what promises to be a delicious fortnight.

A new restaurant concept is coming!

“After 18 months, we all want to party,” said Alex Guarnaschelli during the official US Open tasting event on Thursday. The Michelin-star chef will introduce a new restaurant concept, Fare, located in the South Plaza of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Eataly and Pat LaFrieda

The tasting also featured award-winning Tom Colicchio, whose 'Wichcraft' has become a US Open staple, and food from famed restaurants like Eataly and Pat LaFrieda.

Even more long-awaited debuts

The former will be making a long-awaited debut in Flushing Meadows alongside Los Tacos No. 1, Stuf’d, Stacked Sandwich Shop, and San Matteo NYC.
