Frances Tiafoe is off to a great start at the BNP Paribas Open. He took out Frenchman Benoit Paire, 6-4, 6-4, in his Indian Wells opener on Thursday. His first-round victory might have been a rollercoaster of up and down swings and unforced errors, but one thing is for sure, he doesn't miss when it comes to music.

"Drake or Kanye?" co-owner of The Courts Adil Dara quickly shouted out at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Coming off a hot and sweaty practice session, Tiafoe didn't hesitate to share his thoughts on the highly pressing question. With both rappers recently unveiling new music. Not too long ago, Kanye West released his first album since 2019, a 27-tracker that's full of sly harmonies, but fails to reach the spontaneity of his 2013 album, "Yeezus."

Just after Donda, came Drake's "Certified Lover Boy," a 21-tracker that at times is indecisive and forced. However, it's a familiar journey that his fans seemed to enjoy getting a taste of, including the world No. 49 himself. Tiafoe smiled while giving a brutally honest answer and a jab at Mr. West.

"Drake. CLB was way better than Donda," Tiafoe responded as he continued walking by.

Looks like Kanye might need to step it up and as for Tiafoe, he's through to the second round where he will face countryman Sebastian Korda.
