Gavrilova dabbles in Olympic swimming

The Australian's heart is still in Rio.

Still very much caught up in the Olympic frenzy, Daria Gavrilova tried her hand at synchronized swimming and freestyle racing, to cute and laughable results. It's possible that no tennis player loved being a part of the Olympic Games more than Gavrilova.

The Russian-turned-Australian went crazy for patriotism and team spirit in Rio.

The 22-year-old even penned an essay about her love for the Olympic Village despite the lack of hot water and abundance of  "pooey toilet paper." There's little doubt the Australian is going to do her darnest to be at Tokyo in 2020.

At least she has plenty of fond memories (and memorable Instagrams) to hold her over.
