OH, CANADA! Victoria Mboko stuns Elena Rybakina to reach Montreal final

Racquet: Wilson Blade 98 v9 ($269)

Victoria Mboko endorses the Blade, by far Wilson’s most popular frame on Tour. The racquet is coveted for its top-notch control and responsiveness, while producing just enough power for aggressive attacks. It has the versatility to allow Mboko to push opponents from to corner to corner, move forward to finish points with precision and touch, or use her great athleticism to thwart opponents with steady defense.

This latest update to the franchise introduces StableFeel technology which gives the frame a sturdier bending profile. The racquet maintains better composure at contact for truer ball-striking, while maintaining the vaunted Blade feel. This gives players added confidence to be bold with their shot-making.

The Blade 98 is offered in two string patterns: a 16x19 for added power and access to spin, and a denser 18x20 setup that suits flatter hitting with enhanced directional control.

Apparel: Wilson Winning Onesie ($198)

Over the past few years Wilson has really stepped up its apparel game with pieces like the Winning Onesie. It takes the classic tennis dress and injects a little modern flair and a lot of performance. The compressive stretch fabric flatters while still having enough give for unrestricted movement. Perforations throughout—as well as cutouts in lower back and a half-zip front—promote breathability and helps the moisture-wicking material dry even faster. There’s even a pocket on the built-in liner underneath the removable skirt for ball or valuables storage. Mboko is wearing Infrared, and it also comes in Black.

Shoes: Wilson Intrigue Tour ($158)

Designed with input from fellow Wilson endorser, Marta Kostyuk, the Intrigue Tour is the brand’s first female-specific shoe. That means a last constructed to suit the higher arch, narrower heel and wider toes that are more common in a woman’s foot.

In addition, three primary innovations give the shoe its high-performance chops. To keep it fast and responsive, a single layer of UltraShield mesh is used in the upper to provide support and breathability without adding bulk. The SwiftStep sockliner offers extra cushioning, lateral stability and comfort. And the FootFrame in the midfoot uses an integrated lacing system and internal support cage to create an adaptive fit and maximum lockdown.
