There is no Roland Garros action to enjoy this weekend, but the International Tennis Hall of Fame has your Parisian fix. The museum is offering up a look back at the event through the years in the form of a digital exhibitfeaturing Roland Garros posters.

Back in 1980, the French Tennis Federation and the French Open Tournament Committee partnered with Galerie Lelong & Co. to begin a series of annual poster designs.

The posters are inspired by the colors of the tournament, the movement of tennis players, the passion of the fans, and the city of Paris itself. The exhibit also reveals the stories behind each poster, like the American sculptor who created a conjoined racquet in the shape of heart to create the 1995 poster.

The Hall of Fame’s collection is not quite complete as the museum is seeking printed posters from 1999, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2018. If you have a spare in your personal collection, perhaps consider donating it to the museum.
