Help juniors deal with moonballs with the skyball drill

World-famous coach Rick Macci shares a drill that is crucial for junior players. When dealing with a sky, or moon, ball, your footwork is the key.

“The main thing I want to see is early preparation," Macci says. "I want them really moving the feet."

He describes the skyball drill, which involves a coach feeding really high moonballs. In order to track the ball, players must constantly be reacting with their feet to judge the height, speed and distance.
