During the Rogers Cup quarterfinals, John Isner brought some fantastic pop-culture relief when he announced his favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

Within minutes, Isner followers chimed in with their comments, many of them opting for the 1984 blockbuster James Cameron film, “The Terminator.”

Dude, for real? Terminator. 100%, without question. Predator is pretty bad ass, but Terminator takes it in straight sets w/ double breaks.

Some of the debate turned into a duel between “The Terminator” and its sequel, “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” but Isner overruled.

Review site Rotten Tomatoes has 100 percent of critics scoring the classic a thumbs up. “Predator” ranks seventh of the 48 Schwarzenegger movies that are scored.

Isner’s role as moderator was a fun time for both tennis and action-film fans. He’s picked moments to show his personality on and off the court, and American fans hope he can continue to deliver action-packed tennis as the US Open Series continues.
