Isner to be first- time father of a baby girl
Published Apr 23, 2018
The tennis world is going to get a little bit bigger. Madison McKinley—the wife of John Isner—and Sania Mirza both announced that they are expecting new additions to their families.
Isner got married in December, and recently won the biggest title of his career in Miami to get back inside the Top 10. The 32-year-old American was actually asked about fatherhood after winning the title in a funny, yet telling, exchange:
Isner's wife broke the news with a photo taken at Steve Johnson's wedding.
Mirza, 31, is married to Pakistani cricket player Shoaib Malik. The six-time Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1 hasn't played any tournaments in 2018.
Baby season is in full bloom as another tennis pregnancy made waves this past weekend. In a viral moment, umpire Eva Asderaki-Moore was asked by Daria Gavrilova whether she was having a boy or a girl.
