Tunisia's Ons Jabeur made history on Wednesday at the French Open. By taking out sixth-seeded Dominika Cibulkova, she became the first Arab woman to reach a major third round.

Jabeur won the junior French Open in 2011, adding to her confidence and comfort in Paris. She said that her game's variety, particularly her drop shots, helped her on Wednesday.

"It was an unbelievable match for me..." she said. "Unbelievable feeling, especially when you dictate the game."

Cibulkova was understandably disappointed after the 6-4, 6-3 upset.

The 22-year-old Jebeur is ranked No. 114, and has been competing mostly on the ITF Pro Circuit this year. She actually lost in the final round of the French Open qualifying draw, but benefited from a lucky loser spot.

Taking full advantage, Jabeur won her first career Grand Slam main draw match over Ana Bogdan before stunning Cibulkova.

It has been 21 years since a lucky loser has made the third round of Roland Garros (Gloria Pizzichini, 1996).
