Watch out, world. Jannik Sinner is more than just a NextGen phenom. He’s now a cover star as well.

The young Italian posed for GQ Italia in late June, but recently shared a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot on his Instagram. For a 19-year-old who soared to stardom at such a young age, he seems as comfortable in front of the camera as he does on court. Conveniently, this shoot combined both.

Sinner stepped out covered in Gucci for a quick hitting session, looking edgy, sophisticated, and about 10 years older than his actual age. His looks ranged from velvet suits embossed with Gucci’s logo to sweater vests adorned with animal faces, all part of Gucci’s new "Ouverture" collection.

Since Sinner exploded onto the tennis scene, it’s becoming clear that his star power extends outside court lines. Sponsors have lined up to sign with him, and his current partners include Alfa Romeo, Nike, Parmigiano Reggiano, Lavazza and Rolex. His latest off-court achievement is signing as Gucci’s new ambassador, which looks to be a dream pairing so far.

Of course, playing tennis in designer suits is only for special occasions…or is it?

“Is that what you’re wearing for dubs in DC?” American Sebastian Korda commented on the world No. 23's post.

The two rising stars will be pairing up to take on the doubles field at the Citi Open come July 31. Seems unlikely, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for matching Gucci suits when they make their debut.
