Steve Johnson is going to join the new dads on tour. The 30-year-old American announced on Thursday that he's expecting his first child with wife Kendall Johnson.

The two married in 2018.

With the due date in December, Johnson has some time to collect advice from his compatriots Sam Querrey and Mike Bryan, who both just welcomed sons.

Johnson has been easing back into competition. He played the DraftKings All-American Team Cup last week in Atlanta, going a perfect 3-0 with wins over Tommy Paul, Taylor Fritz, and Reilly Opelka. He will next compete in West Virginia for the Orange County Breakers in a three-week World TeamTennis season.
