Justin Bieber meets Conor McGregor courtside in the Bahamas

Sun, sand and tennis are the top three ingredients for a perfect Caribbean vacation, and it’s exactly what pop megastar Justin Bieber had planned when he recently hit the courts in the Bahamas. As fate would have it, he wasn’t the only one with tennis on his mind.

UFC legend Conor McGregor spotted his famous friend playing tennis, and posted all about their chance run-in on Instagram. He credited a bit of divine intervention for making their paths cross “again”.

“I bumped into @JustinBieber again today. In the Bahamas!” McGregor wrote. “I put it up to the sky, this keeps happening, it’s something from above that keeps doing this!

“God bless you my brother, great to see you always. Some serve today!”

The pair have struck up an unlikely friendship over the years, with the UFC fighter attending Bieber’s concerts as well as presenting the singer with an award during last year’s MTV VMAs.

When he’s not producing chart-topping hits and touring the world, Bieber is a dedicated tennis fan in his own right—and he’s not too bad on court either. In 2015 he was featured at the annual Desert Smash charity event in Indian Wells, which has also hosted the likes of Kevin Hart, Jon Hamm and Will Ferrell over the years alongside pros like Serena Williams and John Isner.
