On Thursday night, Ana Ivanovic and Angelique Kerber attended the BAMBI awards in Berlin. The annual awards recognize excellence in international media and television, specifically acknowledging those who inspired the German public.

Ivanovic's new husband and professional footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger was given the "Honorary Prize of the Jury" award for his contribution to the German national team. The Serbian was more than a little impressed with his win.

And the 29-year-old embraced the chance to be on a red carpet quite fully.

While Kerber also showed up in black tie attire.

The world No. 1 did not leave empty handed. She took home the BAMBI award for Sport.

It's yet another trophy to add to Kerber's growing collection.
