Nick Kyrgios had a fairly awkward week in Cincinnati.

It started with his roller-coaster ride alongside Andy Murray at Mason, Ohio's Kings Island amusement park. Consider those two sufficiently amused, even as their video posts violated the park's camera policy.

Then there were Kyrgios' Cincinnati matches themselves. He weathered tough three-set encounters against Denis Kudla (11-9 in a final-set tiebreak) and Borna Coric before a 7-6 (4), 6-7 (6), 6-2 third-set loss to Juan Martin del Potro.

It was just before the Kudla marathon that Kyrgios literally found himself without the means to tread his way through it.

Indeed, the 23-year-old Aussie forgot his shoes as he stepped out on the Western & Southern Open's grandstand court. A pal tracked them down in the locker room and delivered them, while onlookers courtside and a visibly tickled Kyrgios shared a good laugh.
