MIAMI—Much as she has enjoyed binging the first season of Wednesday, Leylah Fernandez is in no rush to debut her rendition of Jenna Ortega’s viral dance.

“When I try, it just looks like a brick wall in an earthquake,” she joked at the Miami Open. “But maybe I just need a bit of practice.”

The routine took over Tik Tok this winter set to “Bloody Mary” by Lady Gaga, who the former US Open runner-up caught live for a wet and wild concert at the Hard Rock Stadium last fall.

“It was incredible, and I had the best experience,” she beamed. “It was my first concert!

“I was a little heartbroken that they had to cancel the last few songs because of the lightening, rain and thunder. I was out there for a good two hours and we were waiting for the rain to die down because of the big storm. It was drizzling when we left and that’s when they announced that they had to stop the show.

“But Lady Gaga was just simply amazing.”

The Little Monster, who boasts a playlist full of Gaga’s 80s rock inspirations, including Billy Idol, is hoping for bluer skies in her return to the Sunshine State, where she spent a lowkey off-season with family.

“Next year, I’ve been thinking of doing Hawaii. I’ve always wanted to go!”

Fernandez opens her Miami campaign against Lesia Tsurenko on Wednesday (not Addams).
