Celebrity tennis fan Lindsey Vonn is back in the eye of the storm ... of the GOAT debate.

You might remember how the Olympic champion skier ignited a social media firestorm for herself with fans of Novak Djokovic last month when she dubbed Roger Federer, a longtime friend, with the moniker of "the greatest of all-time." But on Sunday, Vonn took to X to assuage any fears that Djokovic's fans might still have over any supposed disrespect of the Serbian's career achievements, posting a selfie with the current world No. 1 alongside glowing praise.

"Hanging with the [goat emoji], and yes, I do believe he is the goat," Vonn wrote.

"Contrary to Twitter beliefs, I think there can be more than one. But @DjokerNole holds the records and I have nothing but respect for what he’s achieved… and he skis!"

Djokovic's pre-Indian Wells tour through California's celebrity rolodex continued this weekend in other ways, too, as he and his wife Jelena spent time with NBA superstar Nikola Jokic, also from Serbia, after they watched Jokic score 35 points on Saturday to lead his Denver Nuggets past JeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, 124-114. Djokovic's appearance at the Staples Center followed an outing at the LA Galaxy FC match vs. Miami last Sunday, and a trip to UCLA to train and take photos with the school's tennis and football teams later in the week.

“I’m here to enjoy the basketball, a sport I love very much. Of course, appreciate the greatness of LeBron and and Nikola Jokic,” Djokovic said, per the ATP website.

On his countryman, Djokovic added: “He's huge. He's one of the best athletes we've ever had in the history of Serbian sport. What he has been doing in the last three years is just remarkable, not just for Serbian basketball, but also for European basketball, playing in the strongest basketball league in the world. He's amazing. I just love him a lot as a person.”

Jokic also had glowing words for Djokovic, following up comments he made last year in which he called the 24-time Grand Slam champion "a guy you can look up to."

“They [people in Serbia] see him as a winner,” Jokic said. “He puts our country on top of the world many, many times.”
