Lisicki surfs with world champion Makua Rothman

While vacationing during the off season, Sabine Lisicki sought out some professional help for her surfing lessons. Teaming up with big wave world champion surfer Makua Rothman, Lisicki hit the waves with plenty of success.

The 2013 Wimbledon finalist and former world No. 12 is ranked No. 92 after only reaching a few WTA quarterfinals this year amidst a plethora of early round losses. The 27-year-old ended her season with a quarterfinal showing at the WTA $125,000 in Honolulu.

At least it seems she'll start 2017 with her zen firmly intact.
