When you’re the world No. 1, people are always watching: critiquing each shot, attitude under pressure, and your style.

This Wimbledon, Ashleigh Barty is delivering in every category.

The Aussie’s Wimbledon look qualifies for the Look of the Day all on its own, but it’s the nod to countrywoman Evonne Goolagong Cawley that makes it that much more special. It’s part of Fila’s Trailblazer Collection, which pays tribute to the Grand Slam champion by replicating the outfit Goolagong Cawley wore when she won Wimbledon 50 years ago. She was only 19.

Just as her idol did, Barty is wearing a white top and skirt to comply with Wimbledon’s all-white dress code, but the key details are in the skirt. It incorporates a scalloped hem and cutouts of flowers along the side, similar to Goolagong Cawley’s. Barty’s top also includes the logos of her sponsors, FILA, Jaguar, and UKG.

The 2019 Roland Garros champion is still on track to follow in the former world No. 1’s footsteps and capture a Wimbledon title this year. She got past Anna Blinkova in straight sets, and will take on Katerina Siniakova in the third round. Ahead of the tournament, Barty shared her outfit on Instagram.

“I hope I can make you proud Evonne," Barty wrote.

Our bet is that she already has.
