The world No. 26 made it back for the unforgettable live event after winning his singles and doubles openers at the BNP Paribas Open. Musetti’s Indian Wells campaign ended on Monday when he fell to Holger Rune in singles and saw his doubles bid with John Peers dashed after the duo had knocked out fourth seeds Santiago Gonzalez and Neal Skupski in the first round.

In January, Musetti stated, “The main goal for this season is to try and be a nice father” following a straight-set victory over Jordan Thompson at the Adelaide International.

The 22-year-old Carrara native is 5-7 on the year and scheduled to play next week’s Miami Open.
