Snubbed at the Grammys, Lorenzo Sonego finally finds justice on the Spotify charts.

Sonego’s “Un Solo Secondo” is a bona fide one-hit wonder, hitting over one million plays on the popular streaming platform this week.

Good friend and producer AlterEdo celebrated the news with Instagram:

“Lori…what if we made a serious song?” he recalls, adding the former world No. 21 asked only for a reggaeton beat in reply.

AlterEdo delivered that and more with “Un Solo Secondo,” an earworm that’s hard to shake once you hear it for the first—or millionth—time.

In the wake of the tennis world clamoring for more, Sonego cautioned the bops wouldn’t keep coming on account of his busy tournament schedule.

“It was only for fun, and it was a funny moment for me,” he explained at Wimbledon in 2021. “When my friend and I were young, we would sing a lot of songs together, and so it was a moment for us.”

Surely a milestone like this calls for, at the very least, an EP.
