In a week of exciting off-court announcements, Madison Keys and Bjorn Fratangelo have entered the fray to announce their engagement after six years of dating.

The pair posted a picture of Keys’ gorgeous engagement ring to Instagram Thursday afternoon, with the simple caption, “Forever.”

Keys and Fratangelo have been a formidable couple both on and off the court, winning their first mixed doubles match as a team at the 2022 US Open.

“He finally wore me down,” Keys told ATPTour.com of their first mixed outing in 2021. “Of all the memories you have of all the matches, it’s obviously the people you are with who make those moments…to be able to have a moment on court together I think is definitely something that is going to stick in my mind.”

The tennis world responded with immense excitement at the news, led by Keys’ best friend Sloane Stephens, who commented, “Yesssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are getting married!!!!!!!!!!!” with multiple diamond ring emojis.

Currently ranked No. 20, Keys is fresh off a run to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships quarterfinals as she prepares to play the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Fratangelo, 29, peaked inside the Top 100 in 2016 but has been off the court since the US Open last summer due to injury.
