Mattek-Sands shows off gold on Green Bay Packers field

Bethanie Mattek-Sands and her gold medal made another appearance, this time on the field of the Green Bay Packers' win over the Houston Texans in Green Bay, Wis. on a very snowy Sunday.

Mattek-Sands and the Green Bay Packers have been building up a relationship of mutual respect for a while. Here the Packers are acknowledging her victory in Rio (which was in mixed doubles with Jack Sock):

Mattek-Sands and Wisconsin actually go way, way back.

Though the 31-year-old was born in Rochester, Minn., and now resides in Phoenix, Ariz., she spent her childhood in the small town of Neenah, Wis., just 40 miles away from Green Bay.
