Many tennis stars attended fashion's biggest night out at this week's Met Gala in New York. Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Naomi Osaka, Felix Auger-Aliassime and even 18-year-old US Open winner Emma Raducanu attended the event. However, out of the long list of professional tennis players at the Met, Nick Kyrgios was not on it.

He may not have made a Met Gala appearance, but the Aussie is still feeling the vibes in New York City. Wearing the Looney Tunes extraterrestrial character Marvin the Martian on his oversized shirt, he took in the cityscape around him.

"Met Gala vibes," Kyrgios tweeted with his photo series.

The Warner Bros. themed shirt could have definitely made a major fashion statement on the carpet, but there's always next year. Perhaps the world No. 95 will make his mark in 2022 with his streetwear style. For now, the 26-year-old is currently back on the practice court following his first round exit at the US Open.

Next up for Kyrgios will be the upcoming Laver Cup in Boston. It will be his fourth appearance as part of Team World. He's gearing up for the event in New York at John McEnroe's Tennis Academy, and former No.1 McEnroe will also be Team World's head coach.
