You know you're doing something right when Michelle Obama notices. The former First Lady posted a special message to Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams after their Australian Open semifinal.

Osaka would beat Serena in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, and the match was an excellent display of respect.

"I felt it's like always a surreal moment, just to see her in real life, like close up, because I rarely see her, to be honest," Osaka said. "I think our practice times are different and stuff. But, yeah, it's definitely a surreal thing."

In order to manage her nerves, Osaka did her best to focus just on herself and the court instead of spending too much time in awe of the 23-time Grand Slam champion. Her strategy worked.

She'll take on Jennifer Brady in the final as she seeks her fourth career Grand Slam title.
