It’s been quite a year of highs and lows for Garbine Muguruza. The Spaniard reached her career-high ranking of No. 2 in June and she enjoyed the greatest highlight of her career thus far by winning her first Grand Slam at Roland Garros.

Since beating Serena Williams in the Paris final, Muguruza’s results and ranking have dropped a bit (falling early at both Wimbledon and the US Open). She has reached just once semifinal since June (in Cincinnati), but just reached the quarterfinals in Linz.

Regardless, the world No. 6 will still be a threat to the rest of the field in Singapore.
