Nadal cuddles up with furry Aussie koalas

The stars of Brisbane are already having a grand time.

The new year has begun and with it, a new tennis season. Kicking off in Brisbane, the ATP's biggest stars get to cuddle up with some Australian locals, namely koalas.

Nadal is new to Brisbane, but settling in quite quickly.

He, like Andy Murray has done in years past, embraced the chance for a unique photo-op.

This year's tournament includes some heavy star power with defending champion Milos Raonic, Stan Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori and Dominic Thiem all entered alongside Nadal. Murray is entered in an even heavier field in Doha with Novak Djokovic.
