Naomi Osaka is as well-known for serving up on-trend fashion as she is for her multiple Grand Slam victories, and now she’s revealed how her signature looks come together.

The former world No. 1 took a break from clay-court preparations to share the best finds from a New York shopping trip to her 2.7 million followers on Instagram.

“I’m doing a clothing haul because I went shopping! So here’s the stuff that I got,” Osaka began, but before any commenters accused her of promoting one brand over another, the 26-year-old reassured viewers that this was a “no plug” video.

“I bought everything that you’re seeing, so no plug for everybody!” Osaka joked. “You don’t get a plug, and you don’t get a plug…”

Osaka showed off several luxury pieces, trying on platform sandals from Melitta Baumeister ($590), a mohair baseball cap from Marni ($300), a mesh camo and shark print hoodie from BAPE ($475) and a jacket by Issey Miyake ($1,120). A smiley face jacket by Kapital was the “star of the show” according to Osaka, who exclaimed “Are you kidding me, mate?” when she tried it on.

She will have to make room in her closet for another signature jacket, after she received a one-of-a-kind leather jacket by Jeff Hamilton ahead of last month’s Miami Open.

“There’s a lot more, but I don’t really feel like trying it on because I have somewhere to go,” Osaka concludes the video.

Perhaps Osaka was rushing off to a practice court, because the Japanese player has made good on her promise to play a full schedule during her return to tennis from maternity leave. She’s been rewarded with some of the best tennis of her comeback during the Sunshine Swing, with Osaka reaching the third round at both Indian Wells and Miami. She knocked out a seeded player at both tournaments too, taking down No. 14 Liudmila Samsonova and No. 15 Elina Svitolina in straight sets.

Osaka will make her clay-court debut at the Open Capfinances Rouen Métropole with a wildcard. The WTA 250 event starts April 15.
