Naomi Osaka has typically put a personal touch on her weapon of choice, but this year’s limited edition EZONE line is more personal than ever thanks to a collaboration with sister Mari.

The new paint job, which Osaka has already teased on social media, has turned many a tennis fan's head for its incorporation of fiercely beautiful dragon-inspired imagery.

“The dragons represent an unwavering fighting spirit," said Mari, a former tennis player-turned graphic designer. "I hope the racket gives Naomi strength and confidence every time she steps on the court, even when I'm not with her.”

This isn’t the first time the Osaka sisters have come together on an artistic endeavor: the two entered the NFT space in 2021 with one-of-a-kind works of art that sold upwards of $200,000.

The new EZONE racquets will be available for purchase in time for the US Open, but Osaka will debut the new stick on court on Tuesday at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic during her first round against Zheng Qinwen.
