An epic achievement calls for equally epic treads. Upon reclaiming his place atop the heap of the ATP singles rankings, and becoming the oldest man to do so in the Open era, Roger Federer found that Nike properly feted his feat witha new pair of Air Force 1 sneakers.

Premium leather. Golden logos. And "RF1" emblazoned on the heel. That all reads correctly to mark such a righteous record. Even the custom wooden box in which these low-cut kicks are placed just screams "peRFection."

"Betterer With Age," says the gold lettering running along the side of the box. The man now has 20 major titles, and three of the last five contested in men's tennis, so there's no disputing that.
