It’s a date! Well, sort of.

In the latest chapter of their budding bromance, Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios continued their good vibes ahead of Sunday’s highly-anticipated Wimbledon final showdown.

On his Instagram story Saturday, Kyrgios initially asked, “@DjokerNole, we friends now?”

The 20-time major champion didn’t answer with the word “yes”, though was up for an invitation. “If you are inviting me for a drink or dinner, I accept,” he wrote back.

“P.S. Winner of tomorrow pays.”

Kyrgios responded, “Deal, let’s go to a nightclub and go nuts.”

The Australian is due to make his major final debut, while Djokovic is set to contest a men’s record 32nd title match on the Grand Slam stage. While Djokovic acknowledged Friday that he wasn’t sure if their relationship had reached the level of a bromance, he valued what Kyrgios did at the beginning of the year.

“When it was really tough for me in Australia, he was one of the very few players that came out publicly and supported me and stood by me,” Djokovic expressed, having been deported just before the start of the Australian Open. “That's something I truly appreciate. So I respect him for that a lot.”

Kyrgios leads their head-to-head series 2-0, though both meetings came more than five years ago on outdoor hard courts.
