Usually when you miss your overhead long it’s because you’re closer to the net, and adjusting your feet becomes less of a priority. The most critical key to making overheads is keeping the ball in front of you, so you’re not reaching back or falling over. Adjust your feet quicker, and get more behind the ball so you can move into the shot.
