Wedding bells rang out this weekend for Petra Kvitova, who married Jiri Vanek in the Czech Republic on Saturday.

The two-time Wimbledon champion announced their marriage with a post on her social media accounts Sunday, captioning a photo of the now-husband and wife with a simple, "Mr and Mrs" as well as their wedding date.

Czech tabloid Blesk reported that Kvitova and Vanek, also her coach for the last seven years, tied the knot at Statek Oblik, a resort in the Bohemian Highlands, in front of guests including Barbora Strycova.

WTA world No. 1 Iga Swiatek led the congratulations for the two in the comment section of Kvitova's post, saying: "Congratulations! I'm happy for you."

Vanek has coached Kvitova since 2016, and the two began dating in the summer of 2021. They got engaged last year, with Vanek famously popping the question at Wimbledon. In December, Kvitova played coy about when and where the two would wed, only revealing in an interview with Blesk that the wedding would take place at some point in 2023.

Kvitova and Vanek's on-court collaboration has netted her two titles so far this season, in Miami and Berlin. Kvitova's triumph over Elena Rybakina at the final of the Miami Open this spring put her back in the Top 10 for the first time since 2021, and was her biggest title in five years.
