Ash Barty's varied athletic arsenal was on display this week in New Zealand, with some strokes saved on the golf course and some taken on the tennis court.

While the three-time Grand Slam champion—who also played cricket for a spell—missed the cut by two shots at the New Zealand Pro-Am Championship, she found her way back into the photo wires. Of course, she was also asked about a potential pursuit of pro golf, and a return to pro tennis.

“And the answer is no to both,” she said.

According to news.com.au, Barty "enjoyed a positive second round at the at Millbrook Resort in Queenstown on Friday in the team’s event, but it wasn’t enough make the top 40."

The Aussie retired from tennis at 25 after winning the 2022 Australian Open in a storybook ending. Since then, she's become a mother and has found some time to get out for a few hits.

“I love playing as a hobby and it’s obviously lovely to get outside for 18, go for a walk, and enjoy it,” Barty said.

See for yourself—along with some of those Barty forehands we remember fondly.
