Watch out, Iga Swiatek, you aren’t the only teenager in the draw with a legitimate shot at the title. American phenom Coco Gauff has now won seven consecutive sets in Paris en route to her first quarterfinal appearance at a major.

On Monday, Gauff demolished Ons Jabeur, 6-3, 6-1, and needed less than an hour to do it. It appears, for now at least, that clay is Gauff’s best surface. The slow, red-clay provides her the necessary time she needs to hit her extreme western-grip forehand, and makes it even harder for opponents to hit the ball past her. Gauff has now won nine consecutive matches on clay.

With her Monday win, Gauff joined some legendary company.

Gauff will face off against the red-hot Barbora Krejčíková for a spot in the semifinal.
