Petra Kvitova took to Twitter after being stabbed in the left hand by a burglar in her home in the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

It's not yet clear how the injury could affect Kvitova's career, but she underwent surgery "because of her condition and future career," said Karel Tejkal, Kvitova's spokesman.

Players took to Twitter to share their well wishes for the 26-year-old.
