Karolina Pliskova enters the WTA Finals in Singapore draw as the only player in both the singles and doubles draws. Along with Dominika Cibulkova and Madison Keys, the Czech is a first-timer in Singapore.

After years of showcasing her talent everywhere but the majors, the 24-year-old broke through at the US Open, reaching the final with wins over both Venus and Serena Williams.

The world No. 5 also won her biggest career title to date in Cincinnati, taking out Angelique Kerber in the final.

In doubles with Julia Goerges, Pliskova reached the final of Indian Wells and the semifinals of the Australian Open and Wimbledon. She won Birmingham partnered with fellow Czech Barbora Strycova.
