Only one photo has emerged of Roger Federer and Mirka attending friends Alexandre Arnault and Geraldine Guyot's wedding on the beautiful Venice island of San Giorgio this past weekend. Aside from casually strolling into the event alongside fellow icons, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and Omar Sy, fans spotted an interesting detail in the single released image of the Maestro.

Federer is seen walking without any crutches.

Just last month, Federer surprised fans when he decided to make an unexpected appearance at the Laver Cup in Boston where he used crutches for support. Recently, the former No. 1 underwent his third knee surgery and remains hopeful for a solid return to the court and according to this last photo it seems he's well on his way.

The 40-year-old looked great in an all-black suit with classic noir shades that brought the slick look together quite nicely.

Wondering why such a large gathering of a-listers attended this particular wedding? it's because the groom, Alexander, is the son of Bernard Arnault, who is the third richest man in the world. The Arnault family owns brand's such as Louis Vuitton and French multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products, Sephora. According to Forbes, Bernard is worth a whopping $250 billion.

Federer is a long-time brand ambassador for one of the Arnault family brands—Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH).

Although, Federer is moving without crutches, he will most likely not compete at the Australian Open in 2022.

“I’ve got to first walk again properly, run properly and then do the sidesteps and all the agility work and then eventually I’ve got to be back on the tennis court,” he said to press last month.

“But it’s going to take me a few more months and then we’ll see how things are at some point next year."

The world No. 11 hasn't competed since falling to Hubert Hurkacz in Wimbledon's quarterfinals.
