Serena Williams achieved both serial and cereal-centric glory, but she saw fit to take it a step further.

After appearing on the cover of a Wheaties box (available now), she played a role in securing the same high-visibility treatment for the U.S. Women's National Team (USWNT), the soccer outfit that won the World Cup last month.

Such limited-edition, commemorative Wheaties covers run a 10,000 count.

"The USWNT captivated the world this summer," Williams said via press release. "They impressed us all with their incredible accomplishments on the field—and their use of sports as a platform to inspire the next generation of girls. I believe a champion embodies a person in all aspects of their life and I am so proud to share my time on the Wheaties box with these amazing women who are doing just that. When we support each other and build each other up, we can do anything."

It may seem a steep cost for a box of cereal, but the Wheaties box featuring the soccer squad retails for $23 in a nod to its number of team members. What's more, proceeds will go toward empowering girls to take part in sports and pursue their dreams.
