THE BREAK: Alexis Ohanian shows off world's largest Serena Williams card collection

It’s happening: Serena and Venus Williams are entering the podcast space, together.

The sisters announced on Tuesday a new video-interview adventure in partnership with X (formerly Twitter).

“We’re so excited to be launching our new podcast, a place where we will share our personal stories, have authentic conversations, spotlight important topics, and laugh a lot,” they said in a joint statement.

“This platform gives us the chance to engage directly with our fans who have supported us throughout our careers, and we’re excited to connect with audiences, old and new, in a way we’ve never done before.”

Episodes will center around guest interviews, whom the sisters tease to be “visionaries, creators and rulebreakers passionate about shattering the status quo.”

According to X, 86% of all digital mentions and 92% of all social mentions of the Williams sisters take place on X.

Serena and Venus join an array of X Originals creators, but they aren't the first in the family to partner with the platform. In Fall 2024, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian premiered his reality TV series.
