Is Serena Williams returning to the big stage soon? Aaron Rodgers is certainly manifesting it, although he may need an education on the tennis calendar.

The respective champions met up at the Bitcoin 2022 Conference in Miami, where the 23-time major singles winner provided some insight on their conversation. Before Williams could begin to spill the tea on an Instagram story, the former Super Bowl MVP pointed her way and said, “The GOAT.”

Shared Williams, “We’ve been talking about my comeback and he’s been hyping me up and getting me ready for Wimbledon.”

“Hype man,” gestured Rodgers before asking with a surprised tone, “Wimbledon?”

Responded Williams, “Yeah, I thought you knew?”

Rodgers then threw an interception when he inquired, “What about US Open?”

“Wimbledon’s before the US Open, I gotta play Wimbledon first!” exclaimed Williams.

Rodgers recovered by the end of the clip when he declared, “she’s baaack.”

Williams last appeared on tour at Wimbledon of all places. In June 2021, a leg injury forced the seven-time singles title holder at the All England Club to retire in the first set of her opening match with Aliaksandra Sasnovich.

On Thursday, it was announced that her longtime coach Patrick Mouratoglou would work alongside fellow former world No. 1 Simona Halep as part of a “short-time” arrangement.
