Serena Williams will be back on TV screens across the United States this upcoming weekend, and no she's not making her return to the tour just yet. The 23-time Grand Slam champion is throwing on her bowling shoes for Michelob ULTRA's Super Bowl 56 commercial.

The tennis star hasn't taken the court since Wimbledon last season due to injury, but her bowling arm is looking quite good in the big game spot. Williams takes on some other notable athletes, such as the NBA's Jimmy Buttler, soccer star Alex Morgan and NFL great Peyton Manning at the Superior Bowl, a bowling alley which serves as the commercial's setting.

As the other athletes grab their shoes, drinks and get in last minute reps, time nearly freezes when Williams enters the alley with her curve-hugging jumpsuit on. She has the same look of determination and confidence that saw her capture 73 WTA singles titles. The star-studded spot comes to a close when veteran actor Steve Buscemi, who is known for his bowling moves in the Big Lebowski says, "Game time."

Similar to the brand's 2021 Super Bowl ad they continued to keep health and happiness at the core. The other major theme is gender equality in sports, which manifested not only by having Williams, but WNBA player Nneka Ogwumike and Morgan within the commercial. Williams is excited to see the push for equality come to fruition, as it so often never does.

"This year, Michelob Ultra made a commitment to supporting gender equality in sports," Serena said in an interview with PEOPLE. "And it was so great to see that come into fruition when they decided to put that commitment to action by having just as many female athletes in this Super Bowl ad as they had male athletes.

"It's a great opportunity to applaud the brand for just elevating female athletes, and really walking the walk and talking the talk."

In her interview with PEOPLE, she opens up on inclusivity in sports and how it's always a part of the conversation, but ultimately is never delivered on. The 40-year-old icon is beyond thrilled with the underlying narrative this spot brings by having the same number of female athletes as male. The former world No. 1 loved filming with Michelob and was especially excited to act alongside Buscemi.

"We vibed a lot. We chatted a lot. We took pictures. We got some really cool behind-the-scenes footage, which I can't wait to post. It's been really cool and really fun," Serena said.

There is a total of three video ads which will all air during the game and feature different products: Michelob Ultra, Michelob Ultra Pure Gold, and Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer.

Super Bowl 56 will see the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
