You can officially call Naomi Osaka mother now.

On Tuesday, PEOPLE revealed that the four-time major champion had given birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles. In January, Osaka shared on her social media that she was expecting her first child with Cordae.

A recent video circulating on Twitter of Cordae also confirmed the happy news. The rapper seemingly alludes to "Shai" being their daughter's name. A public announcement is yet to be made by either parent.

A former world No. 1, Osaka previously stated her intentions of returning to the WTA Tour in 2024.

"2023 will be a year full of lessons for me, and I hope I’ll see you guys at the start of the next one cause I will be back at the Australian Open 2024. Love you all infinitely," she wrote earlier this year.

If recent history is anything to go by, the 25-year-old will have plenty of inspiration to draw from.

Last year at Wimbledon, Tatjana Maria made a maiden Grand Slam semifinal 15 months after having her second baby. On Tuesday, Elina Svitolina, who welcomed daughter Skaï into the world alongside husband Gael Monfils this past October, made the final four at the grass-court major with a stunning victory over world No. 1 Iga Swiatek.

Osaka’s last competed on tour in September 2022 at the WTA 500 in Tokyo. Fellow multiple-major title holder Angelique Kerber is also expected to return next season following the birth of her daughter Liana in February.
