Good things come in threes: After Marta Kostyuk and Anastasia Potapova celebrated their weddings so far in the offseason, American Shelby Rogers joined them in walking down the aisle this week, marrying her beau of three years, John Slavik.

The bride wore a a classic white Morilee dress with a deep V-neck designed by Madeline Gardner at the scenic Harborside East venue in her hometown of Mount Pleasant, S.C.

"Thank you to everyone that helped make our day so special," Rogers wrote on social media Sunday announcing their nuptials. "We are overcome with gratitude, love, joy, and excitement."

Rogers, 31, met Slavik, a former college hockey player, debuted their relationship in 2020 after meeting on a blind date set up by mutual friends. The pair got engaged earlier this year ahead of the WTA tournament in Charleston.

Rogers called the proposal at Charleston's Battery promenade "probably the most perfect moment of my life so far" during the Credit One Charleston Open.

"He did an amazing job. Everybody was in on it except me," she said this spring. "There were a couple of slip-ups right before and I was like, hang on, this isn't the way to dinner, but I haven't been able to stop smiling the whole time."

Rogers' 2023 ends on a well-deserved high after an injury-plagued season on the tennis court. The former world No. 30 missed the second half of the season, last playing at Wimbledon, and currently sits at No. 147 in the WTA rankings.
