On Wednesday, we offered up some last-minute Halloween costume ideas. From Nadalcaraz to "Doctor" Federer to Taylor Swift Fan (we're looking at you, Iga), it spanned the globe of silly and spooky.

But if it's a flat-out scary costume you're looking for, you could do worse than taking inspiration from a recently retired tennis legend. On Thursday, Sir Andy Murray became Creepy Clown Andy Murray:

Such a clown 🤡, commented fellow Brit and former doubles No. 1 Neil Skupski.

Almost as scary as facing Rafa at 🇫🇷 Roland Garros 🏆, wrote @fifthsettennis, and it's hard to disagree. It's the makeup that makes this.

Murray has sported some wild hair before—the widely shared photo below is iconic at this point—but this tattered rainbow might take the proverbial cake.
