Adrian Mannarino - Australian Open

It's rare to get a great tweener, let alone two in the same match. Within the same point? Well, that's something special. Adrian Mannarino did just that during his time Down Under. In his third-round clash against 2021 Australian Open semifinalist, Aslan Karatsev he gave fans two tweeners for the price of one.

From the beginning of the point, Mannarino was on the defensive. His service return was barely landed in before the 33-year-old delivered the first tweener of the point on the run. However, Karatsev would not be shown up, delivering his own tweener on the very next shot. Eventually, it would be Mannarino who proved that his tweener was superior, with Mannarino winning the point. Both players had a laugh and smile after the exchange before continuing the match. In the end, the Frenchman upset the No. 18 seed in four sets to reach the fourth round, a career best at the first slam of the year.

He kept the same show-stopping momentum going against No.6 seed Rafael Nadal and gave the Spaniard a run for his money in the opening set. He pushed Nadal to come up with epic shot making and on the 20-time major champ's seventh set point he prevailed. Although Mannarino lost a tough 7-6 (14), 6-2, 6-2 battle with the world No. 5, he went out with a memorable few matches at the major.
