I always feel like ... somebody's watching me! Frances Tiafoe played prankster on media day at the Mubadala Citi DC Open, and Andy Murray was his unwitting victim.

The American creeped up on Murray during an on-camera interview, and stood over his shoulder for 30 seconds as the Scot answered questions about grass-court tennis vs. hard court tennis, and the demands both pose on his body. As Murray closed his answer—which cameras sped through for comedic effect—Tiafoe finally broke his silence.

"That makes sense," he said in Murray's ear.

"Oh my god, there he is," Murray responded, finally catching sight of Tiafoe. "How long was he there for?"

("Two questions," Tiafoe called out from off camera as he walked away.)

When informed by the off-camera producer that it was, indeed, "a long time," Murray answered: "Oh really?!? I didn't even feel him. I thought you were laughing at my answer! I thought, 'Well, that's a bit rude!"

Hometown favorite Tiafoe and former world No. 1 Murray are two of the stars on offer at this week's combined ATP and WTA event in the nation's capital, the first 500-level combined event on the calendar.

Tiafoe is seeded No. 2 and Murray No. 15 in the singles field, and both have already won their first-round doubles matches. Tiafoe and Hubert Hurkacz beat Chris Eubanks and Sebastian Korda in a match tiebreak on Monday, while Murray and his fellow Brit Dan Evans upset No. 2 seeds Austin Krajicek and Mate Pavic.
