Casper Ruud, who rose to a new career-high of No. 8 on the ATP rankings on Monday, hit another milestone on Tuesday, recording his 50th win of the year with a 7-5, 7-6 (2) victory over South Africa's Lloyd Harris in Vienna.

The Norwegian is now one of three players, male or female, to record 50 or more tour-level wins so far this year:
55: Stefanos Tsitsipas (55-16)
50: Daniil Medvedev (50-11)
50: Casper Ruud (50-13)

Tsitsipas got his 55th on Tuesday, beating Grigor Dimitrov in Vienna, 7-6 (6), 6-4.

Nobody else is at 49 yet, but three players are tied at 48: Alexander Zverev, Cam Norrie and Ons Jabeur (Jabeur leads the women’s tour).

Ruud has won more ATP titles than anyone this year with five ATP 250s at Geneva, Bastad, Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and most recently San Diego. The first four were all on clay, while San Diego was his first tour-level title on hard courts.
