MATCH POINT: R. Nadal def. D. Medvedev; Australian Open F

Sometimes it’s tough to pick which stat to go with for Stat of the Day, but this one couldn’t have been more obvious.

With his unbelievable 2-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 victory over Daniil Medvedev in the final of the Australian Open on Sunday night (and Monday morning), Rafael Nadal won his 21st career Grand Slam title, breaking the all-time men’s record.

20: Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic
