Stefanos Tsitsipas has been the ATP Tour’s resident philosopher and YouTube creator, but now the Greek star has fully branched out into the world of music. Unlike his contemporaries, such as Denis Shapovalov and Corentin Moutet who create more mainstream rap and pop songs, Tsitsipas chose to jump into lo-fi hip-hop, and his debut album features more mellow and immersive beats.

"Only Yesterday" is the 22-year-old’s first full-length lo-fi release, following a four-song EP project back in March.

“I enjoy music. I feel like every person has his own identity and every person has his own taste in music,” Tsitsipas said in an interview at Roland Garros.

“I got influenced a lot by other tracks and other albums I’ve been listening to so I decided to make my own song, based on certain parts of my life recently.”

Let’s hope that his music continues to grow just like his tennis skills. The world No. 4's new music can be found on SoundCloud.
