Australian tennis player Storm Sanders announced her engagement to fiancé Loughlin Hunter on November 20, with a ring and big smiles from both to show for it.

As Sanders herself alludes, if it wasn't the case already, this does make her the No. 1 moniker in professional tennis: Storm Hunter. It's difficult to think of a better name in the game since the heyday of Anna Smashnova.

"Yay, congrats!" came in the celebrations from fellow players, including that from Andrea Petkovic.

The 26-year-old Sanders is ranked No. 65 in WTA doubles action. She and partner Arina Rodionova won the Hua Hin Championships in Thailand in February, in this understandably abbreviated season. Her previous WTA-level doubles title came in 2017 on the Nottingham grass.

Sanders and Loughlin also recently purchased their first home, adopting, in his words, a "YOLO" mentality. Cheers to the beaming couple, in a year when everyone could use good news.
